Betfair launches speedy-withdrawal function 'Fast Funds'
Customers using Visa Debit cards can withdraw and receive their money “in seconds”
Betfair has launched a new speedy withdrawal function for customers in the UK, Ireland and Spain, dubbed Fast Funds.
The new function lets Visa Debit and Visa Pre-Paid customers withdraw and receive their money in two hours or less, and sometimes seconds.
The front-end journey was built internally at Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) on top of Visa Direct technology.
The feature has also been rolled out to Paddy Power customers in the UK and Ireland.
“The early feedback from customers has been really positive and we are continually looking at ways we can improve this further, as well as enable more of our customers to get their winnings instantly,” a Betfair spokesperson told EGR.
The Visa Direct product does require that a customer’s bank has enabled Visa Direct too meaning it is only available for certain customers at present.
“Banks are increasingly making this available for their customers,” Betfair said.
PPB is the latest tier-one operator to introduce speedy withdrawals, joining bet365 and Sky Bet.
