Betdaq strikes Charlton Athletic shirt sponsorship deal
Betting exchange pens three-year agreement to become south London club's principal partner
Betdaq has signed a three-year deal to become the principal partner and shirt sponsor of Charlton Athletic Football Club.
The Ladbrokes-owned betting exchange company will see its logo featured on the south London club’s new home and away shirt from the 2016-17 season.
As part of the deal, unique offers and markets will be made available for Charlton fans and the firm’s branding will be visible at The Valley stadium and on all of the clubs’ media backdrops.
“We are delighted to partner with Charlton Athletic,” said Betdaq managing director Shane McLaughlin.
“Football is an important and growing part of our business and the Charlton Athletic partnership provides a great platform to bring our product and brand to a new audience in the important London market,” he added.
Betdaq is the latest egaming operator to have tied up a sponsorship deal ahead of the new football season which kicks off in August.
BetVictor became Liverpool’s global online partner and Betway expanded its football sponsorship strategy into Germany for the first time.
And Asian bookmaker Dafabet has partnered with Premier League newcomers Burnley and extended its association with Sunderland.
