Betclic replaced as Juventus sponsor
Italian football club agrees deal with Jeep, to run until 2015.
Italian football club Juventus has agreed to replace Betclic as its shirt sponsor from the start of the 2012-13 season after signing a deal with Fiat.
The announcement, which will see Fiat’s Jeep brand feature on the shirts of the Serie A leaders, brings to an end a deal with French operator Betclic Everest dating back to 2010.
Betclic Everest announced in January that it would be ending its sponsorship deal with French club Olympique de Marseille, an agreement which had also been signed in advance of the 2010-11 season.
It also ended sponsorship deals with 28 Portuguese football clubs earlier this month, after announcing it was to pull out of the European Union country.
According to Juventus the deal with Fiat is worth 35m, and will run until the 30 June 2015. It also sees Fiat become the official car supplier to the football club.
