Bet Tracker and OpenBet announce partnership
Bet Tracker has announced a partnership with OpenBet which will see its mobile application connected to OpenBet's sportsbook platform.
Mobile sports betting management service Bet Tracker will connect its mobile application to OpenBet’s sportsbook platform, after a partnership between the two companies was announced today.
As a consequence of thedeal, OpenBet licensees will be able to access live in-play data from Bet Tracker, allowing them to keep tabs on live odds and statistics throughout the duration of sporting events.
Bet Tracker’s European managing director Steve Cook said: “Providing players up-to-date stats anywhere, any time is a significant opportunity for exponential growth in the mobile betting sector.Players now have unlimited access to place and track bets and interact with sportsbooks provided by OpenBet.”
Cook also revealed the potential for sports betting customers connected to Bet Tracker to set up social betting leagues, and that he was confident that “at a minimum, a sportsbook will gain one additional customer per betting league that an existing customer creates.”
The application can be integrated into the existing offering held by any OpenBet customer who owns a smartphone and on either Apple, Blackberry and Android devices.
Last week Cook suggested that several sportsbooks have failed to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the mobile betting market.
