Bet365 tops Oddschecker's US Presidential Election rankings
Operator leads the way across click referral charts, while William Hill jumps up in the horseracing positions
Bet365 continued its dominance across all Oddschecker’s bet slip click rankings in October, including the US Presidential Election charts ahead of next week’s vote.
In a month that saw two TV debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton aired live globally, the Stoke-headquartered firm gained a market share of 24.92%.
Betfair was close behind in second place, registering a share of 21.85% for the month, with Sky Bet gaining third spot with 20.24%.
Ladbrokes followed with a share of 6.76%, while Paddy Power was in fifth place (5.84%), the bookmaker’s lowest position across all rankings.
The remainder of the top 10 were filled by William Hill (4.54%), Matchbook (3.93%), Coral (2.58%), Betfred (2.28%) and Boylesports (2.03%).
Elsewhere, bet365 led the way in the overall rankings with a share of 21.23%, a slight increase on the 20.26% the firm recorded in September.
Betfair (12.51%) and Paddy Power (9.52%) remained in second and third place respectively, with no changes in the top 10 rankings from last month.
Big movers in the other rankings saw William Hill (9.97%) leap over Paddy Power (9.83%) into third place in the horseracing charts, while Paddy Power (8.73%) snapped up third position in the European football places ahead of BetVictor (8.64%).
