Bet365 maintains Oddschecker rankings dominance
Operator retains its number one click share position for July after topping the leaderboard in both football and horseracing
Bet365 maintained its number one position in Oddschecker’s bet slip click rankings last month following a dominant performance in UK football, international football and horseracing.
The operator obtained a 19.69% overall market share via the odds comparison site during July, while Betfair came a distant second with a 12.74% share for Exchange and sportsbook combined.
Bet365’s position was boosted by a number one position in UK football (17.67%), horseracing (21.99%) and international football (17.47%), which included 10 days of Euro 2016.
The Stoke-based firm also came third in golf with 10.70%, behind Paddy Power (12.94%) and Betfair (12.15%), in a month which saw Sweden’s Henrik Stenson win The Open.
Meanwhile, overall third-place was last month occupied by Irish bookmaker Paddy Power with 10.79%, which was able to see off competition from Sky Bet (9.83%) in fourth and BetVictor (7.38%) in fifth.
Coral (5.96%), Ladbrokes (5.74%), BoyleSports (3.93%), Betfred (3.93%) and Betway (3.17%) completed the top 10.
