Bet365 extends Oddschecker lead once more
Gap over Betfair is back up to 3% while Ladbrokes climbs back into top five.
Bet365 brought its lead over Betfair at the head of the Oddschecker Top 10 back up to almost 3% in November after increasing its share of football betslips.
The increase from 14% to 18% for football helped the Stoke-based operator preserve a market share of more than 18% overall, while Betfair surrendered two percentage points where overall market clicks were concerned.
Betfair’s loss was Ladbrokes’ gain, with the London-listed bookmaker climbing from eighth to fifth following a 1.8% increase in market clicks.
Stan James, meanwhile, fell two places to eighth after its share fell by three quarters of a percentage point, with Victor Chandler’s 0.9% increase helping it leapfrog its fellow-Gibraltarian operator.
Oddschecker traffic for UK football was up 65% month-on-month but activity in other sports was more sparse, however Paddy Power remained third after recording a 13% share of a golf market highlighted by the World Golf Championships.
