Bet365 extends Oddschecker lead in December
Stoke-based operator opens up a gap of more than 4% over second-place Betfair.
Bet365 extended its lead at the head of the Oddschecker Top 10, closing in on a 20% share of market clicks in the process.
The 19.67% market share recorded by the Stoke-based operator in December means its lead over second-placed Betfair has surpassed the 4% mark, despite the betting exchange recording an unprecedented 28% share of the antepost market ahead of the Cheltenham Festival.
Third-placed Paddy Power more than doubled November’s 1% gap to William Hill after breaking the 9% barrier as Hills dropped a percentage point to 6.7%.
Lower down the table BetVictor, which rebranded from Victor Chandler earlier this month, remained seventh but closed the gap to sixth-place Boylesports to less than one tenth of a percentage point after recording an 8.7% share in market clicks for football.
