Bet365 dominates Oddschecker January rankings
Stoke-headquartered operator tops rankings for the overall market share, horseracing, UK football and entertainment
Bet365 maintained its position at the top of Oddschecker’s bet slip click rankings yet again last month after a strong performance across a number of the major sporting markets.
The operator registered 19.88% of slip clicks across the whole of Oddschecker for January which, although slightly down on 20.69% in December, was far ahead of rival Betfair which recorded 12.56%.
The Stoke-headquartered firm’s position was boosted by its showing in UK football which saw the company replace BetVictor (15.24%) as market leader with a 16.81% share, compared to 16.05% the previous month.
Meanwhile, overall third-place was fiercely contested yet again as Irish operator Paddy Power (10.67%) leap-frogged BetVictor (10.15%) following strong performances in tennis and UK football.
Fifth-placed William Hill also had a relatively strong January, increasing its overall market share from 9.71% to 10%, while the rest of the Oddschecker rankings remained unchanged despite each company increasing its market share.
Sky Bet (8.73%), Coral (6.23%), Ladbrokes (5.42%), Betway (2.79%) and Betfred (2.33%) completed the top 10.
