Bet365 adds new The Games Company slots
Operator goes live with KGB Bears and Light Racers, the games developer's fourth and fifth releases
Bet365 has added to its slots portfolio after snapping up the latest two releases from games developer The Games Company.
KGB Bears and Light Racers, which were both released via the Odobo Marketplace, went live with bet365 earlier this week and marks The Games Company’s fourth and fifth releases.
Both games were built in HTML5 for mobile, tablet and desktop as part of Odobo’s developer program, while Flash versions of the games have also been developed.
According to The Games Company managing director Hans Winkelmann, there has been a “step change” in the market as it moves towards a preference for HTML5 developed games.
“We are very excited to be pushing the capability of HTML5,” Winkelmann said. “There is now no difference between the quality of our games in Flash and HTML5,” he added.
The Games Company has worked with Odobo since launching its first slots title on Betfair back in June.
“The Games Company is a genuinely proactive studio that invests time in finding out what is hot in the market to keep their finger on the pulse of player trends,” Glen Bullen, partner success manager at Odobo, said.
“We’re thrilled to distribute their HTML5 games to operators such as bet365, Betfair, Coral and Unibet,” he added.
Winkelmann established The Games Company along with Ian Matthews last year after leaving bwin.party, for whom they had produced more than 50 individual slots for its PartyCasino and bwin brands.
