Bet365 slips three places as Goldbet tops Italian online betting rankings for February
Goldbet outperforms the rest of the market for second time in three months after bringing in GGR of €23.5m
Goldbet earned top spot in the Italian online betting rankings for February after raking in monthly gross gaming revenue (GGR) of €23.5m. The domestic giant fought off competition from Sisal (€22.1m) and Playtech-owned Snaitech (€21.9m) to top the rankings for the first time since December 2020. Eurobet (€21.4m) and SKS365 (€19.1m) rounded off the top five, while 2020 market leader bet365 (€18.8m) slipped back down to sixth after finishing third in January.
Goldbet enjoyed 12.7% market share as a percentage of GGR, while Sisal, Snaitech and Eurobet were the only operators to earn more than 11%. SKS365 and bet365 were the only other operators to win February market share of more than 10%. Bet365 still triumphed in the online turnover rankings for January, raking in €190.4m on a margin of 9.9%, to beat closest rival Sisal (€117m) on a margin of 18.9%. Bet365 obtained 18% market share as a percentage of online turnover last month.
