Bet365 plots live commentary feature launch
Stoke-headquartered operator to offer betting-focused commentary on live sporting events
Bet365 is set to add bespoke betting commentary to certain live streaming events, the firm announced today.
The commentary itself will be provided by digital media firm Independent Content Services Limited (ICS), and will be layered over the top of live sports streams from Perform.
The commentary will initially be available in Spanish and Italian as the operator looks to localise its product in those markets.
“It has been really exciting to launch the new commentary service for bet365, starting in Italian and Spanish,” said Ian Holding, director of ICS.
“Bespoke commentary focused on live betting analysis and in-play opportunities is a fantastic innovation for punters and offers real value.”
Unibet was one of the first operators to add its own betting-focused commentary to live events back in August last year thanks to a similar deal with Perform.
Perform said the feature adds “sophisticated personalisation” and drives betting activity and customer acquisition.
