Bee Cave Games plans UK real-money launch
Social gaming firm to launch casino product on Betable's real-money platform this year
Austin-based social gaming studio Bee Cave Games has announced plans to launch a real-money casino product in the UK this year following a partnership with Betable.
The deal will see the game developer release its flagship Blackjack Casino game using the UK-licensed service provider’s online gambling platform and player-facing Betable Wallet.
“The quality of experience that Bee Cave Games brings to its players is extraordinarily high and we are thrilled to enable them to offer real-money play within Blackjack Casino. Developers like Bee Cave are raising the bar for real-money gameplay,” Christopher Griffin, Betable founder and CEO, said.
Betable’s real-money platform can be added to freeplay games and the company claims that games developers do not need to apply for an operating licence as the product is regulated via Betable’s UK Gambling Commission licence.
The real-money launch of Blackjack Casino follows similar deals Betable signed last year with other social gaming firms including Slingo, Murka and Big Fish Games.
In addition to launching its first real-money product in the UK market, the game developer has also announced that it will use a random number generator within its slots titles after completing the Gaming Labs International (GLI) certification process.
“The integrity of our shuffle and the randomness of our game is of the utmost importance,” Bee Cave Games COO Jeremy Strauser said. “We took this extra step to assure our customers that they will always find a fair game with us.”
Bee Cave was founded by former Zynga general manager Erik Bethke, who has taken on the role of CEO, alongside COO Jeremy Strauser, who served as general manager for Zynga Poker.
