ATG to integrate Evolution Gaming live casino
Swedish horseracing monopoly partners with live casino provider ahead of regulation in January 2019
Swedish horseracing monopoly ATG has signed a deal with Evolution Gaming to integrate its live casino product once the Swedish market is liberalised in January 2019.
Once new regulations come into force in Sweden, ATG will be able to compete with privately owned operators across both sports betting and casino.
Martin Carlesund, CEO of Evolution Gaming, said: “As an international company with Swedish roots, Evolution is very pleased to start cooperation with ATG when Sweden is preparing for new gaming legislation.
“We have helped customers benefit from being in many other regulated jurisdictions, and are well positioned and prepared to deliver equivalent benefits to operators in the new Swedish market,” Carlesund added.
The operator last month said it was also in the final stages of a deal with Kambi to develop a sportsbook offering.
According to a Kambi statement, ATG will soon commence internal product testing.
ATG is also in the process of developing its own responsible gambling tool with behavioural specialist Sustainable Interaction, in order to meet strict social responsibility regulations in Sweden.
