ATG partners with behavioural specialist for responsible gambling tool
Operator partners with the company behind Mr Green’s Green gaming tool to produce self-assessment tracker
Swedish horseracing monopoly, ATG, has partnered with Swedish behavioural specialist Sustainable Interaction to develop a unique gambling responsibility tool ahead of the Swedish market opening in January 2019.
The tool, to be launched in Q3 2018, will give players the opportunity to carry out a self-assessment online and track their own behaviours.
Sustainability manager at ATG, Maria Guggenberger, said: “We can then communicate with the customer if, for example, we discover that game behaviour changes and starts to be risky.
“This is also part of the effort to adapt our gaming responsibility to the duty of care that applies to all companies in the upcoming licenced market as of 2019.”
CEO of Sustainable Interaction, Johan Brandsten, said: “We share ATG’s view of the importance of building a sustainable customer relationship and [agree] that gaming responsibility should be an integral and natural part of the overall gaming experience.”
Sustainable Interaction are behavioural specialists that offer services and digital products such as online training and web based, self-help programmes.
The company also developed Mr Green’s Green Gaming tool which uses a specific algorithm to determine problem behaviours in players
