ATG and Svenska Spel top Sweden Q1 revenues
Former monopoly operators made up over 46% of the market in the first three months since regulation
ATG led the charge in Q1 of Sweden’s regulated gaming market after reporting revenues of SEK 1067.6m (£88.1m), good for 31% market share during the first three months of the year.
According to data gathered by Redeye, Svenska Spel’s online offering and Kindred followed with revenues of SEK 572.9m (£47.3m) and SEK 349.4m (£28.8m) respectively.
The figures could overstate ATG’s market share somewhat as its did not report land-based and online revenues separately like Svenska Spel. ATG is thought to generate around 70% of its revenues online.
Bet365 generated revenues of SEK 157.1m (£13m) with Global Gaming close behind with SEK 111.6m (£9.2m) in Q1.
