Argyll Entertainment CEO and CFO onboarded as Esports Entertainment Group execs
Stuart Tilly and Dan Marks appointed corporate secretary and chief financial officer of Nasdaq-listed esports operator
Argyll Entertainment chief executive Stuart Tilly has been appointed corporate secretary of Esports Entertainment Group (EEG).
EEG is in the process of acquiring Argyll Entertainment and its UK-facing SportNation sports betting brand, as first revealed by EGR Intel back in April.
Tilly – who is a practising UK solicitor – will oversee compliance, regulation and commercial activity for EEG’s international expansion efforts and he will also be involved in M&A activity.
Argyll Entertainment CFO Dan Marks has also joined EEG in the same job role.
EEG CEO Grant Johnson said: “We’re excited to officially welcome Stuart and Dan to the Esports Entertainment Group team.
“As CEO and CFO of Argyll Entertainment, they have proven their ability to execute in our industry, growing the business from start-up to $12m in annual revenue in just a few short years.
“As we continue to ramp our flagship Vie.gg platform, this experience will prove invaluable,” he added.
New York-based Marks served as Argyll CFO for the last four years, having previously worked in executive roles for both Barclays and HSBC.
Marks said: “I am delighted to be joining Esports Entertainment at such an exciting time, after becoming the first online esports betting company to list on Nasdaq.
“I look forward to working with the strong leadership team and assisting the company in achieving its strategic and financial goals,” he added.
