Amaya to list on Toronto Stock Exchange today
Montreal-based gambling supplier receives final approval to graduate from TSX Venture Exchange
Software provider Amaya Gaming will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange later today having received final approval from the stock market.
The company will graduate from the TSX Venture Exchange and list its common shares, common share purchase warrants expiring on 30 April 2015 and 31 January 2016, and unsecured non-convertible subordinated debentures on the TSX.
David Baazov, president and CEO of Amaya Gaming, heralded the listing as a significant achievement for the company and its shareholders.
“The TSX is Canada’s most significant stock exchange and this move will provide us with great opportunities to access a broader and more diverse range of international and institutional investors,” Baazov said.
Amaya recently partnered with Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE) to provider the casino operator with an online platform to launch an online casino in New Jersey as soon as the market regulates next month.
Amaya will provide casino games for CIE’s CaesarsCasino.com offering, with Baazov also stating that he expects the company to do further business in the state.
