GTECH G2 lets US operators play for free-play poker deal
Gaming software and services provider to host free-to-play poker tournament at G2E.
GTECH G2 has announced a poker tournament at Las Vegas’ G2E conference for US and tribal casinos to have the chance to win installation of a free-play poker platform.
The prize includes free website design and services, with the gaming software and services provider aiming to give an operator the product to kick-start its online gaming business.
In September last year the software provider signed a free-play deal with the Barona Resort and Casino, aimed at preparing the casino for future regulation in its home state of California, and eGaming Review has since learned that GTECH G2 has also worked with the Seneca Nation of Indians.
Walter Bugno, president and CEO of GTECH G2 and SPIELO International, said in a statement: “We are closer than ever to regulated iGaming in the US and this competition provides the most unique of opportunities for employees to make the difference at their organisation by helping to secure their company’s entry into the world of iGaming “ for free.”
Entry to the two-day tournament is open on the GTECH G2 website, with 83 seats guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis, and SPIELO International will host a draw for the remaining seats at G2E. The tournament will consist of nine 30-minute sessions, two semi-finals with special guests and a final.
