8Xbet lands Teddy Sheringham as brand ambassador
Asian online operator links up with Premier League and Champions League winner in latest marketing push
Online operator 8Xbet has onboarded former Manchester United and England striker Teddy Sheringham as its new brand ambassador.
Sheringham joins the Asian brand on a two-year deal and will feature in a number of promotional campaigns for 8Xbet.
The three-time Premier League winner will appear in branding across 8Xbet’s web and social channels as well as penning opinion pieces on the latest stories from the world of football.
To launch the partnership, Sheringham appeared in a short which saw him whisked across London to put pen to paper on his new deal with 8Xbet.
The new partnership was brokered by Bear Faced Talent, with the firm also providing management former footballers including Micah Richards and Martin Keown.
Sheringham said: “I am honoured 8Xbet asked me to become a brand ambassador for Asia. It is a region that I have fond memories of visiting as a player – and many times since. I look forward to representing and working with the team at 8Xbet and engaging with their customers.”
