888 begins search for new UK PR agency
Operator looking to appoint new creative agency to work on forthcoming UK marketing campaigns
888 is on the hunt for a new PR agency to help shape and deploy its marketing strategy in the UK, eGaming Review has learned.
The firm kicked-off the process last week and it marks the first time the online gaming giant has looked to retain an agency since it split with Frank PR back in 2006.
888 chief operating officer Itai Frieberger confirmed the firm’s search but said a new agency wouldn’t necessarily result in a big shift in marketing strategy.
In 2013 888 appointed Hudson Sandler to handle its financial and corporate account and Frieberger said the firm had worked with a number of agencies since its split with Frank.
“We are now in the process of looking for a new agency to work with for some of our forthcoming marketing activities,” Frieberger told eGR.
The tender process is being overseen by 888’s social and offline marketing manager, Leslie Hassoun.
