32Red launches new ‘Know Your Limits’ ad with Wayne Rooney
Carl Frampton and Paddy Brennan also appear in casino operator’s new minute-long responsible gambling video
32Red has launched its latest responsible gambling campaign featuring Wayne Rooney, Carl Frampton and Paddy Brennan, with all three sporting stars encouraging bettors to know their limits.
The minute-long video is part of 32Red’s ‘Know Your Limits’ campaign, which has already seen several videos launched to promote safer gambling.
In the video, England record goalscorer Rooney, former world champion boxer Frampton and Gold Cup winning jockey Brennan all implore viewers to set limits, take a break from gambling and to realise that they can’t always win.
The video is shot in black and white with the sportsmen looking directly to the camera.
At 32Red, responsible gaming is paramount. Gambling should only ever be entertainment. Remember, you can't always win.

Neil Banbury, 32Red UK general manager, stated that gambling companies have a duty to tackle problem gambling.
Banbury said: “We are clear that responsible, licensed gambling companies like ours have a role to play in tackling problem gambling. Removing betting companies from the public eye would be irresponsible.
“At a time where concerns have been raised by some in light of the coronavirus pandemic, this campaign is a timely intervention in line with the wider commitments by the Betting and Gaming Council to ensure messaging is responsible.”
Banbury went on to discuss how by using sporting talents his firm can clearly advertise messages around positive gambling.
He continued: “As part of our long term strategy to put responsible gambling at the heart of our business model, by utilising sporting talent in this way we can advertise clear and positive responsible gambling messaging to promote healthier gambling behaviour and advocate for control among our customers.”
