10Bet seals Vfl Wolfsburg betting partnership
SBTech-powered operator also says it is in “preliminary discussions” to sponsor a Premier League club for next season
10Bet has struck a deal with Vfl Wolfsburg to become the Bundesliga football club’s exclusive betting partner as the operator looks to ramp up its marketing ahead of next year’s World Cup.
The agreement will see the online sports betting operator’s branding appear on pitch-side advertising, LED screens and interview boards during all league and cup matches at the team’s Volkswagen Arena.
10Bet’s branding will also appear on all VfL Wolfsburg print media and the team’s official website.
“We are delighted to support the Wolves throughout this thrilling 2017-18 Bundesliga campaign and are looking forward to seeing our partnership evolve over the coming years,” Oshri Kostiner, 10Bet CMO, said.
Kostiner added: “This exciting collaboration between two internationally recognised brands underlines our position as a leading player in the world of online sports betting.
“With two decades of top-level experience each, both our teams are in the big time to stay.”
The deal is part of 10Bet’s expansion plans into new markets in the lead-up to next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, with online penetration of DACH markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) a key area of focus.
According to the SBTech-powered operator, it is also in “preliminary discussions” to sponsor an English Premier League for next season.
