Slots Tracker: Play’n GO on cloud nine after topping September rankings
Book of Dead maintains its chart dominance as NetEnt reclaims second place from Red Tiger
Play’n GO’s Book of Dead remains on course for a unbeatable year atop iGaming Tracker’s slot rankings after securing a ninth consecutive month in first place.
NetEnt’s Starburst reclaimed its second-place berth after slipping to third in August while Red Tiger’s Gonzo’s Quest Megaways dropped one place to third.
Blueprint’s Eye of Horus and Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza rounded out the top five places.
There were seven new titles in the September rankings, including Playtech’s Buffalo Blitz 2 and NetEnt’s Rage of Seas, with Relax Gaming’s Money Train 2 finishing highest in 10th place.
NetEnt’s Street Fighter II, which finished in 11th place in August, was the highest-ranking title to fall out of the rankings completely.
The iGaming Tracker compiles the slots rankings by tracking casino sites across several European countries: the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Norway and Denmark.
Games are ranked by their position throughout the month on 50 of the largest casino sites in Europe. Only the ‘main’ page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 10 most prominent positions on those pages.
Casino pages that are exclusive to a particular games supplier are excluded in the ranking. The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 10 positions throughout the month.
Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings and so are live casino games.
