Slots Tracker: Play’n GO jumps ahead of NetEnt in iGaming Tracker’s first ranking of the year
Book of Dead once again overtakes Starburst to top the charts at the start of 2020
Play’n GO’s Book of Dead has leapfrogged NetEnt’s Starbust once again to reclaim top spot in iGaming Tracker’s slot rankings for January.
Starburst had ended 2019 at the top of the charts but Book of Dead, in a carbon copy of November 2019, has swept ahead.
There were eight new entrants to the charts last month, with Play’n GO’s Legacy of Dead the highest ranked at number nine. Four Megaways titles also make the top 20 this month from Blueprint, Red Tiger, Inspired Gaming and Big Time Gaming.
Other new entrants this month include 9 Masks of Fire by Microgaming, John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen by Pragmatic Play and Wild Frames by Play’n GO.
iGaming Tracker compiles the slots rankings by tracking casino sites across several European countries: the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Norway and Denmark.
Games are ranked by their position throughout the month on 50 of the largest casino sites in Europe. Only the “main” page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 10 most prominent positions on those pages.
Casino pages that are exclusive to a particular games supplier are excluded in the ranking. The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 10 positions throughout the month.
Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings and so are live casino games.
