Betfair tops Oddschecker rankings for World Darts Championship
Exchange operator led the way for darts clicks in December, ahead of Sky Bet and tournament sponsors William Hill
Betfair is the surprise market leader in Oddschecker’s darts click share rankings for December, according to new figures provided exclusively to EGR.
The operator led the way across all matches and outright markets during the World Championships last month with 15.2% of clicks, ahead of Sky Bet in second (12.9%), and competition sponsors William Hill in third (9%).
Hills did however take the largest share of clicks on all darts markets from the quarter-final stage onwards, as underdog Rob Cross was crowned champion with a final victory over Phil Taylor.
Elsewhere, Marathonbet crept into the top 10 in the overall rankings again, climbing three places with 3.7% of clicks, knocking Betfred and Stan James down the pecking order for December.
Bet365 continues to lead the rankings for UK football with 16.2% of clicks, while Sky Bet (10.2%) jumped ahead of BetVictor (9.8%) for the first time this season.
Elsewhere, Sky Bet topped the golf rankings for the first time since June, moving bet365 down to second, while Betfair remained on top of the NFL click share rankings as the regular season came to a close.
