IGT to supply games portfolio to Ladbrokes
Nevada-licensed supplier to provide operator with more than 120 online and mobile games.
IGT has announced it is to supply Ladbroke’s with its entire portfolio of over 120 online and mobile games.
Branded titles including Star Trek Against All Odds, Monopoly Plus and Elvis’ A Little More Action will be launched on Ladbrokes.com, integrated via the supplier’s remote gaming server. Lads will also launch popular games such as Da Vinci Diamonds, with the operator taking delivery of all new IGT content as and when it is released.
IGT’s commercial director of interactive, EMEA Leigh Nissim, described the deal as joining “two of the world’s most successful gaming companies”.
“IGT is delighted to be supplying its premium online casino games that include many well-known slot titles in addition to popular licensed brands, as well as rolling out our mobile games in early 2013. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Ladbrokes,” Nissim added.
Richard Poole, Ladbrokes’ head of product for casino and games, revealed the company would be launching a promotional campaign to publicise the new titles, saying: “We have made clear our pledge to work with best-of-breed suppliers and IGT certainly fits into this category. I am sure that our players will appreciate the extra quality we are bringing to Ladbrokes.com and we will be undertaking a comprehensive promotional campaign to launch the games.”
The deal follows last week’s agreement which will see IGT supply Paddy Power with a suite of mobile-only games, while it released a slot based on the classic ’80s film Ghostbusters on Monday. Last week also saw the company shut down its IGT Poker Network, blaming the ring-fencing of liquidity in dot.com networks for the closure.
Ladbrokes, meanwhile, became one of the first 12 operators to receive a casino and poker licence for the north German Land of Schleswig Holstein yesterday, despite the state reiterating its intention to scrap legislation in order to rejoin the controversial Interstate Gambling Treaty signed by the country’s other 15 Länder.
