Gamesys launches Jackpotjoy in Italy
Italian-language version of Gamesys-owned site went live earlier in June
Gamesys has launched its Jackpotjoy brand in Italy, offering slots, casino and video poker to Italian players for the first time.
it.jackpotjoy.com went live last month under an AAMS licence held by Gamesys subsidiary Leisure Spin Limited – Italy.
Last year the company announced plans to expand into new markets after launching the brand in Sweden, offering bingo, slots and casino games to Swedish players.
It also runs the Botemania bingo site in Spain alongside its core UK operations. JackpotJoy slots are also available on Facebook on a free-to-play basis, while the operator also launched separate brands – Bingo and Slots Friendzy – as the first real-money gaming app on the social network.
Microgaming launches cutting-edge Playboy slot game
Microgaming has revealed its Playboy online slot following Playboy Live Dealer’s launch earlier this year.
The video slot has been developed by Microgaming through a licensing agreement with Playboy, a collaboration which began with the launch of Playboy Live Dealer in February this year.
Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said the new title “fully embraces the Playboy brand and projects its luxurious nature”.
Sky Bet in first football partnership
Alderney-licensed operator will be Leeds United’s Official Betting & Gaming Partner for 2013-2014 season
Sky Bet will be the official betting & gaming partner of Championship football club Leeds United for the 2013/14 season in its first deal with a professional football club.
The partnership will see the Leeds-based operator providing United’s matchday betting operation as well as seeing the firm appear across many of the club’s digital marketing and broadcast platforms and on the club’s own football channel LUTV.
Leeds United managing director David Haigh said the club was “delighted” to be partnering with the operator. “The Sky Bet brand is one of the most high profile, fastest growing brands within its sector and we are proud to be the first direct football club partnership with Sky Bet,” he said.

NetEnt continues Italy push with Lottomatica deal
Swedish-listed software supplier Net Entertainment has signed a deal with Italian operator Lottomatica to provide online casino games to the Italian market.
The agreement will see NetEnt offer a catalogue of casino games through the GTECH S.p.A subsidiary for the regulated online gaming sector via its Lottomatica.it and Totosi.it brands. Italy is now NetEnt’s second biggest market after the country’s regulator AAMS issued the first online slots authorisations last December.
PKR adds Android app to mobile portfolio
London-based 3D poker room PKR plans a “full-scale assault” on the mobile market after announcing the launch of an Android version of its mobile poker app.
The rollout follows the launch of its real-money iPhone app in February and itsiPad app in January, both of which are available in the iTunes UK App Store. A spokesperson for PKR told eGaming Review at the time that the operator intends to conduct “A major play-for-fun monetisation programme later this year.”
Bally in slots deal with Paddy Power
Bally Technologies’ online slots games have been made available to Paddy Power players following a deal between the two companies.
The partnership sees the Las-Vegas based service provider continue to expand its presence in Europe following the announcement earlier this week of a partnership with iSoftBet to launch its suite of online video slots and HTML5 mobile gaming products.
Sporting Solutions adds horse racing to pricing service
Sporting Solutions has added a pricing service for horse racing to its B2B offering.
The new product includes an early pricing “tissue” service on the previous day, morning prices, show prices, results, derivatives and Racing Post content, the B2B data services division of the Sporting Index Group said in a statement.
European online payment solution Skrill will be the official payment provider sponsor of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Season 10.
The deal represents the second occasion the double eGR B2B award-winner has partnered with the EPT, having previously sponsored Season 8, and will see Skrill branding placed in and around the tournament area during Season 10 events, with staff also present to assist players during the tournament.

Isle of Man-based betting and gaming consulting company InQ, set up by industry veterans Mark Irvine and Martin Linham, has partnered with Boston Trust’s egaming team to provide strategic advice for egaming operations on the island.
Meanwhile another of Linham and Irvine’s companies, egaming call centre Yello, has signed up its first major client, telecommunications firm Sure.
“The original idea behind Yello was to service the betting and gaming companies based in the Isle of Man, but we are equipped to handle inbound and outbound calls for all types of business, so it’s great to have Sure onboard,” Linham said in a statement.
