Betfair and Lads veteran joins Don Best
Craig Mucklow named VP trading services with US-based odds provider
Former Betfair trading director Craig Mucklow has joined Las Vegas-based odds provider Don Best Sports as its vice president of trading services.
Mucklow, who previously had spells with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power, had joined Betfair in April last year ahead of the launch of the operator’s fixed-odds sportsbook in the United Kingdom. He spent six months with Betfair, leaving before the operator rolled out its standalone sportsbook offering early this year.
Mucklow will head up Don Best’s newly launched trading and services division, and will focus on developing in-play pricing and trading products for US sports.
“It is a privilege to be able to welcome Craig into his new role as we launch this exciting division. There is continuous demand from our customer base for expanded in-play market coverage of highly profitable US sports,” Don Best president Benjie Cherniak said.
“Craig’s presence bolsters our ability to offer these products to required standards, beginning with 100% coverage of the upcoming NBA season,” he added.
Don Best Sports, which has offices in Las Vegas and Vancouver, provides odds and data to a number of land-based Nevada casinos including Caesars, MGM and Station Casinos, as well as egaming operators including bet365 and William Hill.
Last year saw the company sign an odds monitoring agreement with Betradar, covering ice hockey, baseball, basketball and American football in North America.
