Williams Interactive to supply William Hill with online casino content
US-based casino software developer to provide UK bookmaker's online operation with slots games
Online slots provider Williams Interactive has signed a deal with Gibraltar-based operator William Hill, providing access to the Williams Remote Game Server (RGS) suite of slots titles.
Hills will gain access to Williams’ portfolio of Las Vegas-styled games, with integration of the RGS due to complete by the end of the year. Games will be available on Hills’ Games and Vegas tabs after the integration is complete.
The slots titles will be available on desktop, mobile and tablet platforms, underlining the importance of ensuring a multi-format offering. Hills recently recorded significant growth in its mobile division with mobile net revenue increasing 198% for the first half of 2013.
William Hill director of gaming James Curwen heralded the deal, which will see exclusive WMS slots feature on the operator’s Vegas tab.
“We look forward to featuring selected high quality WMS games exclusively through the Vegas tab, and the competitive advantage we believe these unique player experiences will bring us in the marketplace,” he said.
“Providing their players access to our deep portfolio of proven WMS Gaming slot content on multiple devices represents another landmark endorsement of our extensive library of authentic Las Vegas-style casino content,” said Williams president and CEO Orrin Edidin.
Growth of William Hill’s gaming business stalled in the first half of 2013, the first period since the company completed the buyout of its joint venture with Playtech that overhauled its online offering.
Hills CEO Ralph Topping commented at the time that taking control of its online division would allow the company to gain more freedom to invest in its operations.
