Bally and Cantor Gaming sign content deal
Games supplier to incorporate Cantor's sports and mobile casino gaming content into online gaming platform
US games supplier Bally Technologies has signed an online content deal with Cantor Gaming that will see Cantor’s sports wagering and mobile casino gaming content integrated into Bally’s iGaming Platform.
The agreement follows record quarterly financial results for Bally after the supplier posted a new high of US$264m in Q4, an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.
John Connelly, vice president of business development at Bally Technologies, added that the new content provided by Cantor Gaming would be a great addition to its platform.
“Adding Cantor Gaming’s top-notch sports betting technology will be great new offering for our customers, especially with football season underway,” he said. “In addition, Cantor Gaming has a fantastic selection of popular mobile casino games which are fun, easy-to-use, and offer exciting wagering offerings.”
Cantor Gaming president and chief executive officer Lee M. Amaitis said the deal was a “tremendous fit” for both firms.
“We look forward to a fruitful relationship with Bally, which has a superb industry reputation and a large, global customer base which we believe will benefit greatly from our world-class technology,” he said.
This deals follows Bally Technologies acquisition in July of land-based and online service provider SHFL Entertainment in a US$1.3bn deal that is expected to be completed next year.
