BetVictor launches new 50/50 sports offer
New binary sports betting game sees players gamble on outcome of archived sporting events
BetVictor has launched new sports-based casino game 5050Sports, with variants fronted by former sportsmen including footballer Michael Owen, cricketer Michael Vaughan and boxer Ricky Hatton.
The ‘red or black’-styled game sees players gamble on the outcome of a specific sporting event, such as a football penalty or cricket shot, before being shown the answer using officially licensed archived video clips.
The game includes highlights from international football, boxing, cricket, tennis, PDC darts, Premier League snooker, greyhound racing and motorsport, with BetVictor offering odds of 5/6 on each of the two possible outcomes.
Once a player has made his selection the outcome is shown within five seconds, resulting in a high turnover of betting opportunities. The standard edition of the game includes fixed stakes between £1 and £100, while a VIP edition for high rollers has been released with a higher limit of £1,000.
BetVictor hosts different variants of the game which bear the name of recently retired sports stars, who present the game alongside sports commentator Jim Rosenthal.
“5050Sports is quick to understand, play and reward. It takes gaming back to basics and is ideal for today’s ‘snacking’ generation of online and mobile players,” Stuart Carr, 5050Sports founder, said.
BetVictor recently revealed it is to bolster its casino offering through the launch of an in-house live casino studio from its offices in Gibraltar, with BetVictor chairman Victor Chandler informing eGaming Review the product is set to go live in Q4 this year.
