NetEnt signs content deal with William Hill
Swedish-listed provider will provide a range of desktop and mobile casino games to Gibraltar-based operator
Software supplier Net Entertainment has continued its push into the UK egaming market after signing a content partnership with Gibraltar-based William Hill.
The deal will see the operator integrate the Swedish-listed provider’s desktop and mobile casino games over its online casino network and follows recent UK-facing partnerships signed by NetEnt with Ladbrokes and 888.
The new partnership was described as being an important part of NetEnt’s UK strategy by Björn Krantz, chief of GMO and MD at Net Entertainment. “We continue to follow our growth strategy in the UK market, and I am very excited that William Hill has selected Net Entertainment as supplier for a selection of our best in class casino games,” he said.
Sportech seals £3.1m deal for Data Tote
Egaming operator Sportech has agreed to purchase on-track and online greyhound and horse race betting services provider Data Tote for an initial consideration of £3.1m.
Sportech will now provide tote services to the majority of the UK and Ireland’s greyhound racing tracks, strengthening its position within the market.
Bristol-headquartered Data Tote supplies its tote systems to 23 of the UK’s 25 greyhound tracks and all 18 tracks in Ireland, while also providing betting systems in Sweden, Germany and Malta.
The company recently entered into a relationship with Coral, supplying the UK bookmaker with sports pools software and services.

Cantor sets sail for mobile cruise ship deal
Cantor Gaming has entered into an agreement with Celebrity Cruises to provide the cruise industry’s first complete mobile casino gaming solution.
Celebrity’s guests will be able to play the full suite of Cantor’s mobile casino games on their personal smartphones and tablets by downloading an Apple and Android compatible app.
The free download will be available to Celebrity customers across its shipboard wi-fi network with games set to include a selection of slots, table games and video poker, all of which will be available on the Cantor mobile gaming platform.
Camelot launches £15m National Lottery marketing push
The UK National Lottery operator Camelot has unveiled a new £15m marketing strategy, its most significant campaign since its 1994 launch.
The campaign has been launched to coincide with significant changes to its Lotto game, with both the price of a ticket and prize fund set to double. The new strapline “Game changing. Life changing” will be introduced during the adverts.
New 20-second teaser adverts began to air on Thursday 26 September in anticipation of a 60-second spot, which will be televised on 28 September.
32Red in Film4 sponsorship deal
32Red has announced a six-figure marketing deal with Channel 4 which will see the casino operator sponsor Late Night Film on Film4.
The 12-month partnership, which got underway on 25 September, features 32Red’s branding around both the 11pm and 1am film screenings every night of the week.
32Red is using animated idents comprising of casino related imagery presented as a homage to graphic designer and Academy Award winning filmmaker Saul Bass.
Satoshi launches live dealer casino
Satoshi has introduced live dealer action to its satoshilive.com platform, claiming to be the first fully live casino to accept the digital Bitcoin (BTC) currency.
Live dealer blackjack, roulette and baccarat games have been added to the Satoshi Live online platform, with the offerings available on any internet browser, tablet, smartphone, or Smart TV.
Satoshi has custom-built proprietary video streaming technology in order to facilitate the launch, incorporating both Flash and HTML5 platforms.
Sportech and Picklive partner to launch Picklive USA
Sportech has partnered with fantasy sports game developer Picklive to launch Picklive USA, designed to target the growing US fantasy sports market.
Picklive USA will be available to Sportech’s existing customer base in Connecticut and to B2B customers through Sportech’s US-facing online division eBet.
Picklive shortens traditional season-long fantasy sports games so that they last just one game, with the platform also incorporating social gaming and in-play elements.
GameAccount Network (GAN) and payment systems provider Global Cash Access (GCA) have announced a strategic alliance which will see GCA integrate its Everi payment products suite into GAN’s GameSTACK egaming platform.
“We are excited to embark on this strategic alliance in order to give our common customers and players peace of mind throughout their entire interactive gaming experience,” said GCA general manager and senior vice president of interactive solutions Tim Richards.
UK bookmaker William Hill has launched an iPad app for its Live Casino online gaming platform. Players will be able to play roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and casino hold’em while interacting with real dealers, with their responses played via the device’s audio output.
888 Bingo brand Wink Bingo has launched a mobile application featuring exclusive bingo games, available via Apple’s App Store. Ran Milo, 888 Bingo’s B2C director, said the company expects to introduce new mobile features across all its bingo brands in the near future.
Egaming software provider Microgaming has added two new HTML5 mobile games to its portfolio, coinciding with Halloween. “We recognise the importance of not only providing fresh and regular new content, but also timely content, which will spark interest from our operators’ players,” said Microgaming head of product channels Neill Whyte.
