PAF appoints new comms director
Inger Holmström retires from role and is replaced by former head of press Anders Sims
Ã
land-based operator PAF has appointed a new director of communications following the partial retirement of incumbent Inger Holmström.
Holmström is replaced by Ander Sims, who has worked in PAF’s PR team for a number of years before being appointed head of press at the operator two-and-a-half years ago. He took over the role of comms director on 1 October.
“During the time I’ve worked here, Paf has grown in many ways. Having learned from Inger and many other colleagues, I now feel ready to take on more responsibility within Paf,” said Sims.
Holmström, who has also worked as head of communications at Swedish energy company Vattenfall and the Postal Service of Sweden, will continue to contribute PAF on an ad hoc basis.
“Anders works in a very creative and lucid way, and I am convinced that he can develop the overall communication at Paf in interesting, exciting and new directions,” says PAF chief executive Anders Ingves.
