New Sky Poker client gets full release
Overhauled product completes beta testing with December promotions timed to complement launch
Sky Betting and Gaming has launched its new Sky Poker client following a major overhaul of the product which started earlier this year.
The product emerged from a closed beta test in August, however, a full version of the client which includes a range of new features has now been released.
Richard Milner, head of Sky Poker, told eGaming Review the most important new feature was a new software platform which will allow future developments and enhancements to be rolled out across multiple channels more quickly, with mobile set to be of particular importance in the future.
“We’ve obviously seen the popularity of mobile and tablet on other products within the Sky Betting and Gaming family and we’re sure this will be popular for Sky Poker players too,” Milner added.
The Sky Poker client is now more optimisable than in the past with a range of new features added to allow customers to change their settings and preferences, the company said.
It features “sleeker” design and comprises customisable tables, optional automatic top-up in cash games, multi-tabling auto-focus and preferred seating.
Milner also revealed that Sky Poker is to combine the release with new promotions throughout December.
Players will be given the chance to receive double loyalty scheme points, while the operator’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ promotion has £20,000 of cash and other prizes to be won.
