Nigel Blythe-Tinker stands down from GVC
Non-executive director to leave the company with immediate effect having served on the board for more than nine years
Nigel Blythe-Tinker is to stand down from his position as non-executive director at egaming operator GVC.
Blythe-Tinker is to leave with immediate effect after spending more than nine years at the company having originally joined its board in December 2004.
He had also served as the group’s non-executive chairman until November 2006 and had been chairman of the remuneration committee.
Before joining GVC he had served as group company secretary and head of legal for William Hill between 1999 and 2004, and has also held roles at the Rank Organisation and New Media Lottery Services.
“[Blythe-Tinker] has provided the company with wise counsel throughout this period and has helped guide GVC to the size it is now,” Kenneth Alexander, chief executive officer at GVC, said.
“On behalf of the board I would like to thank Nigel for the contribution he has made during the nine years that he has served as a non-executive director. We wish him well for the future,” he added.
