A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry, including NextGen Gaming, William Hill and the Hong Kong Jockey Club
NYX Gaming Group subsidiary NextGen Gaming has partnered with William Hill to provide a range of mobile and desktop slots content to the UK operator’s casino site.
Foxin’ Wins and Irish Eyes 2 are the first two games licensed by the Australia-based studio to debut on the operator’s Vegas tab with new content to be added from the NextGen Gaming and Aristocrat catalogue in the near future.
“I expect our mutual partnership investment will provide significant returns for both businesses as a wider product range over all verticals is released, including some exciting exclusive titles developed in close collaboration which won’t be found elsewhere,” David Johnson, NextGen’s sales director, said.

WatchandWager, the tote betting and horse racing business of AIM-listed Webis Holdings, has signed a deal with the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) to access its HKJC pari-mutuel pools.
The partnership will see WatchandWager become the first operator in the world to wager internationally into these betting pools which is set to begin this Sunday at the Hong Kong Derby 2014.
“The integrity of [the HKJC’s] international product and the huge pool liquidity are sure to be attractive to our players, especially with our high volume operators,” Ed Comins, president of WatchandWager.com, said.
“As with many of our recent content license agreements that we have signed, it was our licensed online and racetrack operations in the US, and our contributions back into racing both in the US and worldwide, which won us this important contract,” he added.
Social gaming publisher Zynga has announced the addition of its latest branded title, Ted, to Hit it Rich! on Facebook.
The 5X4 reel slots game, which is based on the 2012 comedy movie, is also set to be released on mobile in the near future and joins a range of other branded slot games including the Wizard of Oz, The Terminator and Sex and the City.
Ted starred actor Mark Whalberg and is one of the highest grossing R-rated original comedy movies of all time.
Delaware-based Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is set to launch a new social poker app in partnership with social casino games publisher and developer Playsino.
The free-to-play casino-branded app is slated to go live on Facebook today on the Playsino Partner Platform and features both sit-and-go games and no-limit Texas hold’em tournaments in sixteen languages.
Each gamer can play up to four tables at one time and win exclusive offers from Dover Downs including room rights, event tickets and discounts.
Big Fish Games has signed a deal with bitcoin wallet Coinbase that will see the games developer and publisher incorporate the digital payment option across all its game titles.
The deal will allow Big Fish players to use the digital currency to purchase its complete portfolio of games in addition to in-app purchases for a limited number of free-to-play titles including Big Fish Casino.
“Being able to offer bitcoin payments to our consumers through Coinbase is just one more way Big Fish is meeting demand and setting the pace for the mainstream consumer and for the mainstream industry,” Paul Thelen, CEO and founder of Big Fish, said.
