Greentube completes Bingocams acquisition
Vienna-based games developer buys webcam bingo platform for undisclosed fee
The Novomatic Group-subsidiary Greentube has today announced the acquisition of webcam online bingo site Bingocams from Dazzletag Entertainment for an undisclosed fee.
The no-download bingo application was launched in February 2011 and enables customers to interact via webcam during game play and live chat with players and with hosts to recreate the live bingo experience.
“Bingocams is a welcome addition to the Grentube line of egaming solutions,” Thomas Graf, CEO of Greentube, said.
“This acquisition marks another major step forward for Greentube and further enhances Novomatic’s position of significance within the ever expanding new world of online gaming,” he added.
Managing director of Bingocams Marin Muyser said he believed joining the Novomatic group will provide a “substantial opportunity” to leverage the existing business as the company looks to execute its international expansion plans.
“We have always aimed to roll out our unique bingo software internationally and with Novomatic’s/Greentube’s global presence we will be able to accelerate this strategy substantially,” he added.
Greentube recently made its debut in the US egaming market with the launch of a social casino marketing platform that aims to redirect online players back to land-based casinos.
Greentube Pro was built by BlueBox Engine-developer BlueBet Games and designed to enable brick and mortar casinos to increase player acquisition and retention.
