Mr Green adds Facebook log-in to new casino app
Nordic operator hails social network interaction after releasing a new casino app to the UK market
Mr Green has added Facebook log-in functionality to its new casino app, claiming to be “one of a handful of gaming companies” in the UK market to do so.
The new app, released in the UK market earlier this week, allows customers to log in to the real-money casino app via their Facebook accounts and Mr Green said the functionality was an important strategic milestone.
The move arose from a collaborative effort between Mr Green and Social Thrills, the social gaming company it acquired earlier this year and developers of the Spin Tower Casino game which is currently in beta testing on the social networking site.
Mr Green and Social Thrills have been working together on a new smartphone version of the online casino for the UK market, and group CEO Mikael Pawlo said the firm’s presence on Facebook had given it a “deep understanding of player behaviour” on the platform.
“For us, being one of a handful of gaming companies to offer real-money gaming in the UK market with a Facebook log-in represents a seal of quality,” Pawlo said.
Last week the Nordic operator revealed that it planned to further expand its European presence in the coming months after recording a 45% hike in profit over the first six months of 2014.
