A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including iSoftBet and Sportradar
Casino supplier iSoftBet has announced a new partnership with mobile casino operator Cash Bet to launch its games into apps on desktop, iOS and Android.
The deal will see iSoftBet’s HTML5 casino games launched on apps powered by the CashBet platform in the UK market while the two firms have also agreed to seek approval for a New Jersey launch together.
“CashBet continues to build a high quality, diverse mobile gaming portfolio,” Dr Mike Reaves, CEO and co-founder of CashBet, said.
“Our turnkey solution allows premium content providers, like iSoftBet, to distribute their content through our next-generation, mobile-first online gambling platform,” he added.
Game development studio Spinomenal has launched its portfolio of HTML5 games via the Odobo Marketplace.
The company is now the 26th active developer on the Odobo program with Nuts Commander and Forest Balance the first games to be launched.
“Odobo offers a unique business model that enables us to easily get our games to multiple operators and their players,” Lior Shvartz, CEO of Spinomenal, said.
“We’re looking forward to our games being available and making the most of the marketing tools offered by Odobo,” Shvartz added.
GameAccount Network has joined forces with Canadian land-based content developer DEQ Systems to launch its table games online.
Under the deal, GameAccount will develop DEQ’s games for real-money and social gaming markets in the US, Italy, and Asia.
“We are very pleased to have enter into this agreement with GameAccount,” DEQ chief exec Joseph Bertolone, said.
Sports information provider Sportradar has extended its partnership with the Belgian Pro League for an additional two seasons until the summer of 2016.
As the Official Sportsdata Partner of the Jupiler Pro League, Sportradar has the exclusive rights to use and market live data for the top tier of Belgian football to the global betting market.
“Anyone who follows Belgian football or the rise to prominence of Belgian footballers worldwide will be only too aware of how exciting the sport has become in that country,” Carsten Koerl, Sportradar CEO, said.
“We are delighted that the Belgian Pro League have decided to re-sign with us and have allowed us to support them as they develop the attractiveness of their football to the betting and the media markets worldwide,” he added.
Caesars Interactive has launched two major online casino marketing campaigns in New Jersey as it looks to regain market share lost to rivals Tropicana and Golden Nugget in recent months.
The campaigns will run throughout September and will promote CaesarsCasino.com with a new TV ad, and HarrahsCasino.com through an online/offline treasure hunt.
The TV ad will run with the theme ‘Over 120 games, play anytime, anywhere’ in a bid to highlight Caesars’ extensive online casino game offering across multiple platforms and devices.
Ladbrokes has launched a new poker app, the first new poker product launched by the operator since it migrated to Playtech’s iPoker from Microgaming’s MPN poker network.
The native app, launched on iOS and Android simultaneously, feature cash tables and speed poker variants and becomes the first poker application for the UK market to facilitate deposits from eBay-owned payments provider PayPal.
“Ladbrokes is the first UK gaming company under the iPoker network to release a native mobile application available for Android and iOS,” Yoel Zuckerberg, head of poker at Ladbrokes, said.
Republic of Ireland-licensed bookmaker BetBright has released its debut sports betting app on iOS and Android.
The in-house developed app was released last week and becomes the first mobile product to market from Dedsert, owners of the BetBright brand.
The sportsbook app covers all of BetBright’s current sports betting markets while also offering in-play betting, and the operatoralso revealed plans to add its NovaBall lottery product to the app in the coming weeks.
The New Jersey Casino Control Commission (CCC) has allowed MGM to reclaim its 50% stake in the Borgata, which has been held in trust since 2010 when state officials objected to the operator’s business partnership in China with Pansy Ho.
In 2010 MGM decided to sell its stake in the Borgata rather than cut ties with the Hos. The Borgata’s other 50:50 partner Boyd Gaming passed up the chance to by MGM’s share in the joint venture, so the CCC put it in a divestiture trust.
In February last year MGM reapplied for a casino license in the state and asked the CCC for a hearing in a bid to reacquire its 50% share of the Borgata “ thought to comprise US$86m of cash and investments and leased property in Atlantic City.
