Rivalry promotes from within for new global head of creative
Alexander Norling moves into the new position after two years as creative director at esports betting-focused operator
Rivalry has promoted Alexander Norling to the role of global head of creative after just over two years as the esports betting operator’s creative director.
Norling joined Rivalry in February 2021, which represented his first move into the igaming industry.
Norling previously worked for advertising agency Highfield in several roles from September 2016 to March 2020, culminating in his final role as associate creative director.
Norling also worked as a creative at Anomaly and Deutsch.
The Rivalry head also operates as a freelance creative director for several firms in the tech and video game industry.
Norling has previously worked on the Twitch and Riot Games virtual festival WWS.FEST and Twitch’s Clicksport-1.
On his new role, Norling said: “I got myself a promotion with a fancy new title and a whole lot more stuff to take care of, thank you Steven Salz [Rivalry CEO] and every single person and partner at Rivalry and beyond that have made work very fun for the past couple of years.”
