Vera&John signs Leander Games deal
Malta-based casino operator integrates Leander's LeGa platform to bolster games portfolio
Vera&John has signed a deal with games supplier Leander Games to integrate its LeGa platform, handing it access to Leander’s portfolio of casino games as well as additional third-party content on the platform.
The deal comes just over a month after Leander Games signed a similar partnership with Irish operator Paddy Power and the supplier said further deals are due to be announced in the coming months.
“We’re delighted to reach an agreement with Vera&John whose growth and ongoing success places them as a leading online casino,” Steven Matsell, CEO at Leander Games, said.
Kristel Tonna, head of gaming at Vera&John, said that the ability to quickly add games to its casino products was a key factor in the operator choosing Leander.
“We continue to fulfil our position as the player’s fun casino of choice with our broad selection and frequency of games releases,” Tonna added.
In October Toronto-based gaming group Intertain agreed to acquire Vera&John for a fee that could reach 89.1m pending the casino reaching certain performance targets over the next two years.
The deal is set to complete later this month after Intertain has completed due diligence and received certain regulatory approvals.
