ZEAL Network names Jonas Mattson as CFO
Lottery operator, formally known as Tipp24, appoints Mattson to succeed Andreas Keil who left in September
ZEAL Network has appointed Jonas Mattson as the firm’s chief financial officer (CFO), ending a five-month search to fill the role.
The London-based lottery operator, formally known as Tipp24, began the hunt for a new CFO in September following the departure of Andreas Keil.
Mattson joins ZEAL after holding numerous senior financial roles in the telecommunications and technology sectors including CFO and EVP at network communications firm O3b Networks.
He also previously worked at Ericsson and will take up his new role at ZEAL on 1 February in addition to serving as a member of the company’s executive board.
“[Mattsson] has a remarkable professional track record as CFO in major global corporations,” Dr Hans Cornehl, chief executive officer of ZEAL, said.
“I am sure that ZEAL will considerably benefit from his international management experience, and I am convinced that he will be a real asset to our company’s pursuit of a better world of lottery,” he added.
The operator took the decision rename the business from Tipp24 to ZEAL Network in November to reflect a number of changes the firm made to its “wider strategic focus”, including the expansion of its B2B capabilities.
ZEAL Network recently established B2B arm Lotto Network to provide platform and marketing services to other operators and US state lotteries.
