Dafabet strikes sportsbook deal with FSB Technology
Asian giant to receive new sports betting platform for its UK-facing site
Dafabet has struck a deal with FSB Technology for a new sports betting platform on the operator’s UK-facing site.
FSB will provide Dafabet with an entirely new sportsbook product to sit alongside its Asia-facing offering, providing various sports betting markets for both pre-match and in-play betting, as well as FSB’s horserace betting product.
Speaking to eGaming Review this morning, Richard Thorp, business development director at FSB, said the product would be “more traditional” than Dafabet’s current offering and tailored towards UK and European markets.
The fully managed platform comprises an in-play offering supplied by Sporting Solutions as well as FSB’s own real-time algorithmic pricing models and CRM tools.
“We are excited to have partnered up with FSB Technology and are looking forward to a new launch into the UK market,” John Cruces, head of marketing operations at Dafabet, said. “We have ambitious plans and can’t wait to get going,” he added.
Thorp told eGR that Dafabet would be the first in a number of new partners unveiled by FSB over the coming months.
News of the deal comes less than a fortnight since eGR revealed that the Guardian had cancelled its sportsbook partnership with FSB Technology after just one year following a review of the business prompted by reader concerns.
The sportsbook has since been switched a standalone site unaffiliated with the Guardian, with FSB managing the site until it can find a new long-term partner.
