Swintt secures new operations director
Developer lands former Quickspin and Betsson director Etienne Azzopardi as it continues to grow leadership team
Casino games developer Swintt has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Etienne Azzopardi as its new operations director.
Azzopardi joins Swintt from Quickspin where he most recently served as commercial operations director from July 2019 until July 2021.
Prior to joining Quickspin, Azzopardi spent three years as a product manager for gaming at Betsson Group from June 2015.
At Swintt, the former KPMG man will be responsible for coordinating and optimising product delivery, client launches and geographical expansions.
Speaking on Azzopardi’s arrival, Swintt CEO David Flynn said: “Etienne is one of the most experienced and skilled executives in the industry and his knowledge and understanding of product development and commercial delivery will be vital to Swintt as we continue to grow at pace.
“I’d like to officially welcome Etienne to the team and look forward to working with him as we continue to push the boundaries and deliver market-leading products and games to our partners.”

Azzopardi joins David Flood (CTO) and Tereza Melicharkova (head of marketing) as the latest hire to Swintt’s growing senior team.
