A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including Ezugi and GECO Gaming
Live dealer gaming system provider Ezugi has signed a deal with the Jockey Club del Perú to supply multi-channel gaming content for land-based, online and mobile.
The four-year agreement will see Ezugi provide its full portfolio of content including live casino, slots, pool betting, lottery and sportsbook.
“This is a long term relationship with the Jockey Club in what is a rapidly expanding market,” Kfir Kugler CEO at Ezugi, said.
“We shall deliver localised gaming content via a secure platform that ensures the highest standards of responsible gaming for player protection and integrity,” he continued.
Open content delivery platform GECO Gaming has finalised one of its biggest deals to-date after signing an agreement to become a content aggregator for William Hill.
Under the deal GECO will supply third-party and proprietary games through its GECO RGS to the UK operator’s Vegas and Games tabs.
“This deal will bring together the experience and success of the William Hill brand, with the inclusive technologies of the GECO RGS and the benefits of a community of developers working in collaboration to produce industry leading content,” Mark Paling, CEO of GECO Gaming, said.
Virtual games provider Kiron Interactive has this week become the latest company to secure a supplier’s licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
“We’re delighted to secure this as it enables us to offer our newly-expanded portfolio of games to UK-facing operators,” Steven Spartinos, co-CEO of Kiron Interactive, said.
“We look forward to discussing this turn-key virtual sports solution with operators in due course, along with those further afield for whom a respected regulator offers strong assurances,” he added.
MGT Capital Investments, which owns daily fantasy sports (DFS) site DraftDay, has struck a deal with Seneca Gaming to provide the New York-based tribal casino operator with a DFS platform.
Seneca Gaming will join the MGTSports daily fantasy sports network, and will launch a branded DFS site to players at its three land-based properties.
The platform will launch on desktop, and Senaca said it was also planning to run a number of live DFS contests at its casinos.
The ground-breaking liquidity sharing network between Nevada and Delaware received its soft-launch this week, with the two states combining online poker player pools for the first time.
The network is powered by 888, and speaking to eGR its chief operating officer Itai Frieberger said so far there had been no major problems and “everything was going to plan”.
Nevada and Delaware announced they would share internet poker liquidity through the Multi-state Internet Gaming Agreement (MIGA) in February last year.
Barcelona-headquartered social gaming operator Akamon Entertainment has this week announced the launch of a new slots title Pearl Reef Slots.
The five-reel 70-line game is the first in a new line of slots to appear under the firm’s Viva! Bingo & Slots suite of products and is currently available on Facebook with plans for a mobile version also in the pipeline.
“Pearl Reef features game play mechanics, math, and graphics that would be at home and stand out on a casino floor, and is indicative of what Akamon will be doing in the future,” Akamon CPO, Alex Cohen, claimed.
