Tipico taps Sportradar for US sports data
German giant continues to prepare for New Jersey penetration with latest supply agreement
Tipico has expanded its relationship with Sportradar for the supplier to become its US sports data provider ahead of its launch in New Jersey.
The German giant has partnered with Sportradar in Europe since 2014.
Under the remit of the deal, Sportradar will provide Tipico access to official league data across all of the major US sports leagues.
Tipico will also tap into Sportradar’s pre-match and live betting services as it looks to make strides in the nascent US market.
Tolis Barmpageorgopoulos, Tipico chief product officer, said: “Sportradar has been a trusted partner to Tipico for many years in Europe. We’re thrilled to extend our partnership to include the fast-growing regulated US market.”
Neale Deeley, Sportradar VP of US sales and gaming, added: “Tipico has been an excellent, longstanding partner of Sportradar, and we look forward to working with them as they enter the US sports betting market.
“Having access to our official league data across the major US sports leagues will allow Tipico to offer an authentic and engaging experience to their customers,” he concluded.
EGR exclusively revealed back in July that Tipico would launch its first US-facing venture later this year, starting with the Garden State.
The operator has already sealed supply agreements with NetEnt and Scientific Games to power its online casino.
