US solutions firm to continue to provide sportsbook support for gambling giant
Scientific Games and William Hill have extended their existing partnership in a four-year deal through 2024.
Las Vegas-headquartered Scientific Games will continue to provide William Hill with its OpenSports solution for the FTSE 250 operator’s online sportsbook.
The pair originally entered into a relationship in 2007 and, under the terms of the extension, William Hill will use the OpenSports solution on a modular basis across the UK and Europe.
The solution will allow William Hill to deploy proprietary products across multiple jurisdictions in Europe with speed and flexibility.
Jordan Levin, group chief executive of digital at Scientific Games, said: “By choosing Scientific Games, William Hill is reaffirming their commitment and belief in our products, services and team, and sending a message that we continue to be a source of competitive advantage for global industry leaders in all regulated markets.
“We’re really building on one of our strongest relationships. The team at William Hill share an ambition to create next level player experiences and together, across sports and egaming, we’re making that a reality.”
Ulrik Bengtsson, William Hill CEO, added: “Scientific Games’ solutions provide us with the flexibility that is key to our growth strategy in the UK and Europe, and we’re pleased to continue to use their products that will be provided on a flexible and modular basis to power our shared success in the years to come.”
