Ex-Mr Green CMO joins esports start-up as CPO
David Nordberg has extensive experience in video game development having spent time at King and Electronic Arts
Former Mr Green CMO David Nordberg has joined esports technology platform G-Loot as its chief product officer.
Prior to MR Green, Nordberg held executive roles at major game developers like King, Electronic Arts and MAG Interactive.
He also spent over four years at Swedish monopoly operator Svenska Spel.
Nordberg joined G-Loot last month following the sale of Mr Green to William Hill. The start-up provides a tech platform for mobile and PC games and has partnered with hugely popular esports game PUBG to produce tournaments on the G-Loot platform.
Nordberg also sits on the board at Strafe Esports, an app that provides live data from esports tournaments.
Speaking to EGR, Nordberg said: “I’m very excited to join the talented team at G-Loot and to be part of the company’s journey to become the world’s leading online esports company.
“My background from both entertainment gaming and igaming provides me with a great opportunity to take G-loot products to the next level,” he said.
The company recently secured $25m in funding.
