SB&G extends Playtech multi-product agreement
Leeds-based operator’s multi-year contract extends across casino, live casino and bingo
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has renewed its multi-product deal with Playtech, as the Leeds-based operator aims to build on its recent growth in gaming.
The “multi-year” contract extends across an exclusive Playtech Casino, a dedicated Live Casino environment, Bingo and dedicated Bingo game and network development.
“I’m delighted with the work that we’ve done with Playtech over the years and this new deal is a key part of our plans for continued growth across our biggest brands,” Richard Flint, CEO of SB&G, said.
News of the contract renewal comes after the two companies recently collaborated on the revamp of SB&G’s Casino brand which utilises Playtech’s new live casino studio in Riga.
As part of the revamp, Playtech custom-designed a series of Sky Casino tables, re-designed its dealer uniforms to match the brief and created custom layouts and cards.
It also included an “industry-first” digital live roulette wheel featuring a light tracker that tracks the ball’s movement.
Playtech CEO, Mor Weizer, added: “Over the years we have developed a fantastic relationship with Richard and his team and we’re delighted Sky Betting & Gaming has signed a long-term, multi-product extension.
“[It] brings together one of the UK’s best-performing and fastest growing UK sports betting and gaming operators and the industry’s best-performing software and technology supplier and, in turn, secures both our future growth.”
Playtech-powered Sky Casino went live in 2014 and currently features live casino games, as well as various slots, video poker and table games.
